Hey there, all you pet lovers! My name is Kaitlin and I have a passion for the health and well being of animals. I have been a veterinary technician for 2 years and have grown up around animals my entire life. I enjoy working with all species of animals, however, my favorites would have to be dogs and cats. In my free time you can find me hiking with my dogs, in the gym, fishing, and spending time with my family. I have three dogs of my own; their names are Lola, an 11-year-old Chihuahua, Knox, a 6-year-old Pitbull, and Falon, a 5-year-old Lab-mix. I hope to rescue more pets once I have graduated college.
I am currently attending Lone Star College where I will soon obtain my Associates of Science Degree so that I may transfer to Texas A&M to study Bio-Medical Science. Female doctors such as Dr. Nath and Dr. Schnacke have inspired me to become a doctor of my own and pursue a career in forensic pathology. One saying I tell myself for daily motivation is “The world needs more female doctors”. I am ecstatic to meet new fur babies daily, while working along side a strong and intelligent team.
Hey y’all! I’m Becky, a pure bred Houstonian and proud! I have always loved animals, and often took in strays when I was young (sorry Mom!). I’ve been in the veterinary field for over 6 years, and have worked pretty much every position possible. I started in reception, and worked my way up as I fell in love with the field. My true love has always been in the technician profession. From the smallest mouse to the biggest horse, I love all animals! My favorite animals are rats and hyenas, though I am especially fond of working with cats. I live with my husband and daughter, and our two fur babies Bigby and Jinx.
Rochelle is originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico. She studied Interdisciplinary Studies, ESL at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She came to Houston in 1998 to begin her adult life. During her time teaching ESL and special needs students in various school districts in Houston, she decided to change gears and pursue a career in the veterinary field, where she found herself the happiest. Rochelle has been an important part of various veterinary practices, ranging from low-cost clinics to emergency care centers. Her most recent role was as an Administrative Assistant for a busy multi-doctor practice in Cypress. Over the years, she has developed a passion for client education, customer service and a burning desire to promote and nurture a healthy, positive practice culture. Rochelle is currently working towards her CVPM.
Rochelle shares her amazing busy life with her beautiful cat Sofy Rose, her parakeets named Mango and Quenepa, her Pom-Chi's named Lily Rose and Marley Rose, a charming chihuahua named Yogi, her youngest daughter's elderly Poodle named Missy and her oldest daughter deaf Pitbull mix named Dino.
Fun Facts: Rochelle is a Certified Nail Technician and an amazing cook! Her most popular dish (and Dr. Nath's fave!) is fried plantains. With the gyms closing during these challenging times, she took on running as a sport and now runs a 5k daily. She is planning to join a dear friend in her first official run in New Orleans in 2021.
Hi there! My name is Marina and I was born here in Houston Texas, however I spent the majority of my early life growing up in Los Angeles California before moving back to Houston. I have been passionate about the veterinary field ever since I was a little girl. I have always had a fascination for science and medicine, and my love for animals was the “cherry on top” in the decision to pursue my dream profession. My career at Lakeside began in October of 2020 as an intern, and today you can see me working at reception. I’m beyond grateful for Dr. Nath and Dr. Schnacke for allowing me the opportunity to help animals each and every day. I have three feline fur babies of my own: Emerald, Snowflake and Baloo (pictured) as well as a salt water aquarium. My fur/finned family is my absolute world! I am currently attending Houston Baptist University in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Once complete, I plan on attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine to obtain my DVM and open up a clinic of my very own in the future.
Jenny joins us with over a decade of experience in Veterinary Medicine. She moved here from Tennessee with her husband in 2008, after graduating from the Chattanooga State Veterinary Technology program. She officially became credentialed in the state of Texas in 2009. Jenny has worked in small animal practice and also has some specialty experience. She recently moved back to the USA after living overseas for a short time and is ready to love on your fur babies!
While she enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine, it is surgery, dentistry and client education that hold her interests most. She loves helping clients care for their pets and caring for them at work like she would her own!
Jenny lives with her husband, 3 children and 3 furbabies: Scabbers, a 12 year old canine rescue; Reese, a 12 year old feline rescue and Nero, their newest puppy! She lives in the Cypress area and is excited to meet you and help care for your fur babies!
Fun Facts: Jenny grew up as an Air Force kid. With that background, she has developed a love for traveling with her family. She also enjoys running and reading. While she met her husband in the early 2000s, even he knows her first love will always be cows.
